Was the assessment of an interviewer when I was trying to get into film school. She shared with me after we had finished at the academy and the words made me feel giddy inside. I became bolder about saying I am resourceful to people after wards.
It got me thinking, why do we take other people’s assessment of us as what is true about ourselves; we wait till people validate what we already know of ourselves.
Decide today what you are and keep repeating it to everyone who needs to know because you matter.
